An interesting story

Since always I like so much the beach, swiming in the sea and doing bodyboard. But one day when I was a child, I decided to go to do bodyboard because the waves were so high, so I go to the beach with my friends. When the sun set and we was so tired, we decided to swim in the sea, without fins, that was the worst choice that I could have taken. When we were in the sea, suddenly the flowing became harder and harder. Almost every of my friends could get out but one of my friends and me were so deep in the sea, so the flowing began to draging us deeper. We could not get out. In that moment I was so scared, I thought I was going to die drowned. But suddenly I saw a high wave came up, so I take that wave and could get out of the sea, but my friend could not. My friends and I were sawing to my other friend in the water, we were so afraid. In this moment, a lifeguard appeared and he ran to the water to save my friend. When he catched, it appeared a helicopter and a boat to rescue him. Finally, he was rescue and all of us went to celebrate that anyone were die.

little but mortal

The animal that i'm going to tell you about is so little but it can be lethal. This animal is the scorpion. I find to this animal so interesting because when I was a kid, one of this peak me with it sting and when I go to the hospital, anyone could know what to do with me.

There are different kind of scorpion around the world in all kind of areas as desert, forest, etc. The most dangerous lives in the desert, this kind of scorpion has a poison so strong but is so little. Someone can thinks "bigger is more dangerous", but in this animal is so different, the bigger scorpion are harmless, they have a weak poison in their stings.

The scorpions eats arthropods like spiders, centipedes and they are hunted by birds, especially owls, lizards, snakes and mammals. They have a poison mortal for their dams but is not common a scorpion mortal for a human. 

They go to hunt mainly in the night, close of their caves. They use their tongs but if this is not enough, they use their stings with poison to kill their dams. The scorpions do not have teeth, they only use their muscles of the mouth to pull the feed to their stomach.

Actually, the scientists are doing research about the poison. This substance can be used to cure some kinds of cancer, but it is not sure yet.

Plans to do this summer

This summer it is going to be special, because I plan to do things that I have never done before.

One of these things is go to the community works of my university with my friends and help to the people and have a good moment with them. I don't know where is this, but it does not matter, I just go. I have received a lot of commentaries about this and I hope that it was true.

Other plan that I am going to do is go with my friends to the south without passages or car. We have always wanted to go to the beach on summer but we have never done that because never we agree. So this summer we plan to go to the south or north or everywhere. I prefer go to the beach for one or two weeks and go to parties.

And the last plan is with my family. Every year I go to somewhere with my family. My dad decides where we go, and this year he chose go to Bahia Inglesa. That place is his dream, I don't know why, but I think it is a nice place to have great moments and quiet. We have never been in there, I know it only by pictures and some friends have told to me about that place.

I have great expectations for this summer and I hope accomplish all that I said before.

A photograph I Like

This is a photograph that has a great meaning. In soccer, Chile has never had success until the last year. In 2015 Chile won his first important trophy in soccer, they won the Copa America, and the next year they won again the same tournament. This picture captures just the moment in the final match of the tournament, when Claudio Bravo, Chile's goalkeeper and captain, stop a impossible shot of the opponent. If Bravo had not stopped it, the history would been different, probably Chile would not be the Champion of America. For this reason I chose this picture, because it shows the hero of the match and an important moment for Chile in this sport. This soccer's selection has been the best in the history of Chile, never before Chile had won a cup until this picture. So this photo represent all the effort and criticism that soccer' selection of Chile has had to endure for many years.

My dream job

Since I was a kid, I always wanted become a professional football player or play an instrument with a band. One of these options are the best job for me. I would like be a professional football player because I think that is not a work or job, but it is a game, I could do one of my favourites sports and someone would pay me for that, for do some that I really enjoy to do. I could play and meet my favourites football players like Ronaldinho or Vidal, that would be awesome.

And belong to a band, exactly a cumbia band, that would be the best. I think the cumbia bands is like go to the party all day and every days, they make their own songs and after that they go to the parties to play their songs, I think they have fun all day, playing songs with friends and playing jokes or some like that. 

Actually I am studying dentistry. It is a nice job, because I like to help people and I like the health area, but if I could choose between dentistry or be a professional soccer player or play in a cumbia band, it will a hard decision, but I think I will choose play in a band.

Death

One of the things that more frightens to me is the death. Always when I have leisure time, time when I do not have anything to do, I think about what will happens to us when we die. So many people thinks they will go to the paradise or hell depending how were their lives. Other people thinks that we will to reborn as a person or another living being. Other people, including to me, thinks when we die, there is not anything, we will convert in dust for the bacterias and mushrooms. There are so many theories to this theme. The faith has so much influence about this, depending of the religion of the person, is how and what he/she will thinks about the death. When the people says that they will go to the heaven when whey die, I think to me floating a huge space, alone, seeing the stars, planets and maybe a ET, without dying, floating forever, it's like a hell. There are some songs that make me think in the death and I feel bad in that moment, thinking all the time in the death. 

What country would I like to visit

Since I was a kid I have liked the beach, so a country that I would like to visit, it must have a beach. I don't like so much the turism and walk for a long time visiting places to take pictures and that things, I prefer enjoy the nature and play with friends. So a country that I would visit is Brazil. In this country someone can go to the beach every day of the year and wear lights clothes. I hate the winter, the cold and wear too much clothes. Also, here so many people play soccer, this is a game that I enjoy so much with friends and in this country everybody plays and they are so good. Really, I would like live in Brazil, not only visit it. In this country, also, every year in summer, there is a carnival knonw in all the world. When I watch TV, always I can see the people dancing, playing soccer, enjoying in this country. Also the TV shows the other side, shows poor peole and the drug traffickers, and murders in the "favelas", this is also known around the world. But in general, I would like to visit or live in Brazil.

A subject I enjoy

Since I'm in second year of dentistry, I have a subject so important to be a dentist, and I enjoy it so much, this subject is Simulation. Here we simulate being a dentists with an artificial pacient, named "tipodonto". Simulation it's divided in two parts, a theoric part and a practice part. The theoric are all things, materials, instrumental, methodology that we must know to do in the practice part. For example, if I will put an amalgam in a teeth, before I have to know how to put the amalgam, what is it for, etc, all about the amalgam.

I enjoy doing all this things that we have to do, in fact, is one of the reasons why I'm studying dentistry.

Until now we have made and learned so much things, like Periodontics, that it is all about the gums, insertion tissues, bundle bone. I didn't like so much that, because is a little disgusting. Another thing that I learned and I liked is Operative, this consist in make cavities to take off the caries and cover it with differents materials, for example amalgam like in the previous example.

Really I like this subject because is exactly that I will do the rest of my life.

Someone I admire in my Field

One of the person that I admire is actually doing classes in dentistry in the Universidad de Chile, is one of my teachers in the diagnostic subject. He is Rodolfo Miralles, my favourite teacher and the person that I admire in my field.

I don't know exactly his age, but he is between 65-75 years old. He is teacher of human physiology and oral physiology. He studied dentistry and then he studied endodotics dentistry. Actually he doesn't practice the dentistry, because his passion is the physiology. For 27 years he has done classes of this subject in the university. He has uncovered a lot of things about the human and oral physiology, he has done a lot of papers recognized at world level. His work it has been very important to the science in the world.

Without the Dr. Rodolfo Miralles's investigations, we would not know how works a lot of things of our body. 

In 2009 he was recognized as the best teacher of undergraduate in the Universidad de Chile, in the anniversary number 167.

He is still doing classes and investigations actually and I think he will not stop until he is dead, because he loves his profession.
I admire to this person because he is in love of his profession, his passion is his profession and I hope, some day, be like him.

The truth vs Feeling good

Really, this is a question that I sometimes ask to myself. In the case that I have to choose between say the truth or say a lie to make feel good to the other person, is dificult for me, so, to choose what I will to say, I have to be empathethic, think how I would feel in both cases. Sincerely, I prefer to hear the truth despite that hurt me.

The truth is the only solution to avoid all the problems. The people prefer to listen the truth in the moment, not found out it in other moment by another person. When it happens, the feeling is so sad, personally, I feel very angry with the person who had to say me the truth. For example, in the case that my girlfriend kiss to another man and I didn't know that, I would prefer to hear the truth, that she told me, not that another person told me in other moment.

So, always we have to go with the truth ahead, to avoid problems and probably lose the confidence of the people.

A post-graduate course I might do

Since I was 15 years old, I wanted to speak Chinese. In my school, for two years, I had a Chinese subject and I liked so much.

Also, I would like to have a dental clinic, so I need to understand all about the licenses, taxes, payments, etc. For this I want to study something related with business, maybe business administration, some like that, a job, not a profession. I don't want to study some that I delay so much time, I need some basic, something that I delay 2 years, not more.

One of my dreams is travel to China and probably, if I like, live there. So I need understand the language and get knowledge about the business to put my clinic there.

In my school, when I had Chinese, the classes were so rare. The teacher said 10 or 15 words and we had to learn it, then he dictated and we had to write the words with the meaning. I didn't like that method of study, I would to study face-to-face, go to China and talk with people, obviously with a translate and with previous knowledge.

With regard to the business course, really I don't know if I want to study that, I prefer put to my dad in charge of the clinic, because he knows about that and also he has the money to help me to put the dental clinic. So my business course will be with my dad in my house hahaha.

My dream job

Since I was a kid, I always wanted live playing rugby or soccer. Now I prefer rugby and I'm playing for the university, so my dream was pla

y professional rugby. The only problem is that in Chile the rugby is not professional, is amateur, so the people, here in Chile, can't live playing this sport.

The option is go to play abroad, specifically to New Zealand, France, England or United Kingdom's countries. But as there are very few countries where the rugby is a profession, is too hard become a professional player, because so many people wanted it. 

In Chile there are about 8 or 10 professional rugby players playing abroad, and the rest of people that play in the Chilean rugby league, don't receive any money for play, they are amateurs players. 

The rugby in Chile is not so good in compared to world rugby, but compared to level of America, is so good. 

Two or three years ago, the seven's rugby (it is a form to play rugby, but with 7 players for team) was established as a olympic sport, so in the next olympics games, the rugby will be included. I dont know which is the process to classify or if Chile is classified, but I will enjoy so much to see Chile play in the olympics games or in the best of cases, I would like so much play for Chile in the games.

I would like that the rugby in Chile become a professional sport to motivate more people to play this nice and not so popular sport.

My future profession is special

I decided to study dentistry because I love interacting with people and I like so much the area of health. I wanted to study medicine but for my notes in the school I couldn't entered, so I decided for my second choice, dentistry. I'm in second grade of dentistry now, and I like so much.

Is a profession so special because it combine two things that I love, one is the science and the other one is the interact with people and the etic. Also is a profession so important in the society, because try to heal and prevent the oral health of the people.

A lot of people in the world suffer for caries or another oral disease, so the role of the de
ntist is too important. Dentistry not only heal the oral disease, but cure another problems that could have a person, as is a profession that relate to the dentist with the patient, so it is not only the physical illness, also there are another factors that affect to the disease. For all of this I love the dentistry and I want to graduate early to exercise the profession and help to the people.

My Best Holidays

My best holidays were in the summer of 2010, when I was 15 years old. I can remember everything of those holidays. I went to the south with my family, that is my dad, mom, sister, and my grandmother, cousin and his mother. We went to the south, exactly in January, passing through different places. 

First we passed to see the Salto del Laja and we stayed there one night, then we went to Puerto Varas. 

We were one week, and  here we visited the lake, I can't remember the name, it was beautiful, but in that zone of Chile the weather is too cold, so I couldn't enter to the lake, because I felt my bones frozen. In this place we also went to Ensenada, it was the place most beautiful that I have seen, here there is a lot of nature, I love it, so I enjoyed it. 

We did canopy here. When the week passed, we left this zone and we went a little north, to Pucon. Here we enjoyed too much. First we did rafting, I liked too much, so to the next day, we back to the company of rafting and we saw another attraction, the name was hydrospeed. This sport is so exciting, is like the combination between bodyboard and rafting, you go in a table like in bodyboard but in the river, passing through little waterfalls like rafting. This sport is so unusual, in fact, a TV program was there when we arrived to the river and they filmed us, we appeared in the TVN's news, we were famous for 5 minutes hahaha it was so funny. To the next day, some friends told me that they saw me in TV. 

When we left Pucon, we were so sad, because we enjoyed too much this place. Then we passed through Osorno, it is not so fun, it's like Santiago, a normal city, but is nice. After that, we back to Santiago, so sad, but we enjoyed too much this 2 week of vacations, we also passed through another places, but I don't name it, because they were not interesting.

My autobiography

My name is Javier I was born in Santiago, Chile, the 27th of June of 1995. My zodiac sign is Cancer and I'm 20 years old. 

I grew up half of my life in La Florida, but now I'm living in Peñalolen. I live with my dad, my mom and my sister. My mom doesn't like the pets, so we can't have pets :(, she hate the hair of the animals.

I passed for four schools in my life. In 2011 I repeated second grade of the high school, because that year my school was taken for seven months, so I prefer repeat the grade, because I didn't learn anything. Now I'm studying dentistry in the Universidad de Chile. I would like to have study medicine but for my score I couldn't, nevertheless I really liked dentistry. I have a girlfriend, her name is Alejandra and she study dentistry too, but she is in four grade, is older than me.

I listen to much music, I sometimes play piano, I don't have a favourite band or singer, I listen all kind of music, for example, when I go to the gym I listen metal or hip-hop to motivate me and when I go to a party, always is sounding reggaeton or cumbia and I like it.

I like too much the sports, but I hate run, I play rugby, I go to the gym four or five days at the week and now in the university I start to play voleyball, I'm so bad but I'm progressing. 

I'm afraid of vaccines. I get nervous when I see the nurse with the vaccine. Yesterday I just was about to cry by the vaccine, so all my friends were laughing of me. The vaccines are to much painful, I really hate them.
